Lighting Talks at Mini Maker Faire ~ Evergreen Brickworks Toronto!

8 05 2011

It was such a pleasure to be asked to speak at the recent edition of Lightening Talks with Site 3 at the first Mini Maker Faire held at the amazing Brickworks site in Toronto. The panel features talks on wearable technology, pervasive gaming, bike brakes, and ariel kite photography. The maker community is one that needs so much more support because it inspires people young and old to explore, create and tinker.

I look forward to becoming more involved in this incredibly community, which I believe we will see become an integral part of society in the years ahead.

Here is a cool TED Talk about makers by Dale Dougherty, author of Make Magazine.
